Standing before the mirror and seeing the many parts of you that are broken can be so painful. I know.
The effect of the lies you were told, the betrayal, the “not so good” environment you grew up in, the many disappointments, and the weaknesses you saw in yourself, rather than the strength.
All these things and more changed your default to defect. I know.
When you act out and people say, “You need healing.”
You wonder, “healing from what?”
The defect is gradual and subtle, spreading through you like a virus, and before you realise, you're out of control.
The anger, hatred, groans, tears, loneliness, lukewarmness, bitterness. . . I know.
You stand up in defence at any subtle reach from a “friend.”
Dear, the boundaries you've set around your life aren't safety measures; they are your prison.
Yet, He who is near to the brokenhearted sees you. He knows.
You don't hear Him in those painful times, and you concluded that He left you and will always be absent.
Come on, dear! You know He's a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
You can't hear Him when the troubles in your heart are loudest.
Seek Him in silence and hear His voice louder than the troubles in your heart.
The code is: “Cast your cares before the Lord, for He cares for you.”
You're not entitled to the burden! You deserve freedom!
Release the hurt and get healing. You have nothing to lose, dear.
Many things will begin to make sense only when you see your default rather than your defect. And when I say default, I mean the real you.
Yes, there's a “you” to be unveiled. The defects you see are not who you are.
Jesus wants to fix you. He knows. He's the only one who heals the brokenhearted.
Healing is possible and easy with Jesus. Just take it one step at a time; it's a process.
Ready to kick-start your healing journey with Jesus?
Declare with faith: Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that there are broken parts of me.
I feel a deep sense of incompleteness, and it’s quietly eating away at me from the inside. I know only you can heal the brokenhearted. Therefore, I surrender my broken parts to you.
I choose to be vulnerable rather than defend without cause. I refuse insecurity and embrace my security in You, Jesus.
Lord, hold my hand and work deeply within my heart. Amen.
Take this affirmation: I'm free in Christ. No chains are holding me. The oil of gladness is upon me, and my ashes are exchanged for beauty. I am not defective, broken or weird; I am whole, healed, and complete in Jesus. Amen.
