Breaking the Jar of Oil

Standing before the mirror and seeing the many parts of you that are broken can be so painful. I know. The effect of the lies you were told, the betrayal, the “not so good” environment you grew up in, the many disappointments, and the weaknesses you saw in yourself, rather than the strength. All these things and more changed your default to defect. I know. When you act out and people say, “You need healing.” You wonder, “healing from what?” The defect is gradual and subtle, spreading through you like a virus, and before you realise, you're out of control. The anger, hatred, groans, tears, loneliness, lukewarmness, bitterness. . . I know. You stand up in defence at any subtle reach from a “friend.” Dear, the boundaries you've set around your life aren't safety measures; they are your prison. Yet, He who is near to the brokenhearted sees you. He knows. You don't hear Him in those painful times, and you concluded that He left you and will always be absent. Come on, dear! Y...

Unveiling Your Purpose

Every person has a unique design, requiring a unique preparation for their distinct destiny. There is a “why” for every human being’s existence, and there is only one giver of the “why,” God. God in His wisdom and power made all things beautiful, diverse and unique, assigning a “why” that must be discovered and fulfilled in every being. Before each person's birth, God determines their purpose and assigns a specific time for its fulfilment. This “why” is the core of one's existence. Failure to discover, pursue and fulfil creates a gap in fulfilling God's eternal plan. This “why” is unique for every individual; however, its fulfilment is divinely linked to another person's “why,” making it  more imperative to discover, pursue and fulfil at all costs. The “why” is “purpose.” Many people ask, “what exactly is the reason for my existence?” and seek answers in the wrong places. The curiosity to know the essence of one's existence shows there is a Creator who has created...

SHOUT IN THE CAMP OF THE KING 1

In his heart he said, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Yes, every precious stone was the covering of his body; and crafted in gold were his settings and engravings. He was created this way. He was the signet of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. He was an anointed guardian cherub. He was placed on the holy mountain of God, he could walk on stones of fire. He was blameless in his ways from the day he was created till unrighteousness was found in him. No way he who was created will ascend to the heavens or raise his throne above the stars of God, the Creator.  Michael and the other archangels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angel fought back but he was defeated, and there was no longer a place for him in heaven. Heaven rejoiced and all who dwel...

SHOUT IN THE CAMP OF THE KING 2

“I have created you in the similitude of me. All that makes me I have made you.  Just like I am, you are. You are a god, now be productive, increase in number, occupy every space and subdue it. I have given to you dominion over these things I have made. Now replicate all that I am, and manifest all that I have made you.”   All did God make so from the beginning. Man indeed was in charge of all that God had created. Dominion, power and authority was indeed exercised by man. Man had the same mind as God that all animals were named by man in accordance to what was in God’s mind to name them. “Those whom He predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son are now earth dwellers. In fact, they have been given such great authority, power and dominion. They were created in the image of the bright and morning star. All I could ever be and desired to be, He has made them. No way I’d let this be. I will go in my deceit and steal the authority, power and dominion God has given ...

THE SHEPHERD CALLS

For the pleasure of now, you want to discard the life He gave? For the need and want of now, you want to deny the very One that saved you from eternal death? You think the mountain is too high for the Mighty God to crush? Why does the praise of men matter to you more than the praise of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light? The beginning of the lordship of Christ over your life began when you gave your life to Him. You need to come into the consciousness that who you gave your life to is not man but God;  the very Creator of the heavens and the earth.  When you gave your life to Him, the dimension of Him called a shepherd could find expression in your life. You are His tender sheep who was once lost, whom He left the 99 for. Now you're home to the heavenly abode where you truly belong.  Who painted a picture of His lordship being a burden to you? Who is flaunting the temporal to rob you of your newly found life? What pressure is it that...

WALK BY THE SPIRIT.

The works of the flesh are sexual immorality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, envy, hatred, lust, drunkenness, etc. They are like canker worms and even worse that eats up the spirit of an individual.  May seem enjoyable but its way is the way of death. They are deadly! They are blockages to having the divine relationship between humanity and God. They are pleasurable and enticing, always beckoning and mounting the weight of pressure. Falling to such isn't even difficult at all because of the yieldedness of man to do these works. One thing defeats not gratifying the desires of the flesh. One thing subdues and takes over the desires of the flesh. The simple principle Apostle Paul laid down by the Spirit to us is the simple principle of walking by the Spirit. He said in Galatians 5:16, "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." Just walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. The Spirit and the flesh are opposed t...

His Temple Undefiled

The white colour often connotes purity, peace, hope, clarity, innocence, neutrality, light, simplicity, cleanliness and so on. Of all these, I would say the white colour perfectly connotes purity. Imagine there is an event you have to attend and the dress code for the event is a white dress. I am pretty sure you would be extra careful in making sure the white dress does not get stained by anything whatsoever. In the same manner, you should be intentional about your person. You should be intentional about remaining “white.” Every object of the white colour remains white unless stained. In similitude, you as a woman remains “white” unless stained. There is something that remaining pure does to a woman. It brings about a sense of worth, holiness, cleanliness, innocence, mindfulness, self-awareness, self-assurance and wholeness. But then, there is great contention on purity. The world system has so attacked purity like it’s a virus to be eradicated. Especially, sexual purity. The devil has...
