For the pleasure of now, you want to discard the life He gave? For the need and want of now, you want to deny the very One that saved you from eternal death? You think the mountain is too high for the Mighty God to crush? Why does the praise of men matter to you more than the praise of the One who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light?
The beginning of the lordship of Christ over your life began when you gave your life to Him.
You need to come into the consciousness that who you gave your life to is not man but God; the very Creator of the heavens and the earth.
When you gave your life to Him, the dimension of Him called a shepherd could find expression in your life.
You are His tender sheep who was once lost, whom He left the 99 for. Now you're home to the heavenly abode where you truly belong.
Who painted a picture of His lordship being a burden to you? Who is flaunting the temporal to rob you of your newly found life? What pressure is it that's pulling you away from the light? You want to be like the rest and live your life. Have you forgotten that He freely gave to you the new life you have? What good narrative is it that you, who were once dead in the spirit, received the life of Christ and then went back to being dead because you crossed over from life and light to death and darkness?
Dear woman, vanity upon vanity is all.
You have received what the whole world summed up together will never give to you. You have an inheritance and a crown awaiting you on the day you get caught up in the air with Him to live for all eternity. Do not trade that for the need of this moment; it is temporary.
The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want.
If He dresses the lily with beauty and splendour, how much more will He clothe you, oh precious daughter of the Most High?
If He watches over the heavenly sparrows, how much more does He love you, oh darling daughter of the Most High?
Until the coming of that need, exercise patience and have faith in Him. He has the heart of kings in His hands; He turns it wherever He will. The whole world is in His hands.
Or are you being threatened up to the point of you wanting to compromise? Is the pressure too much? Of course, the enemy in his own deceit will mount pressure on you to make you lose what you have received, but then I tell you weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
If you don't give in to the pressure and threats, you will see the salvation of God. If you give in, you will lose your salvation.
The shepherd calls. Will you heed?
How about you take that problem to Him in prayer? He is your father.
You are His daughter. He wouldn't leave you to suffer. The problem seems insurmountable because you've paid too much attention to it instead of God.
He is strong and mighty! He is the mighty One in battle! His hands are not short to deliver. The question is, will you wait on your Lord and Father in prayer till He responds?
I advise that you wait for Him. Your life is too precious to be traded with temporal pleasure or pressure or threat.
The shepherd calls.
It might be a one leg in and a one leg out situation now. But I say to you on this day, remain among the sheep of His pasture, and He will make you lie down in green pastures and lead you beside still waters.
You know what the end will be if you let Him take control? It is that surely, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life.
Not only that, you will dwell in His house forever. Remain white.
Don't ever think of doing whatever you're being pressured to do with the intention of coming back to ask for forgiveness with the hope in your heart that He will understand.
Instead, wait on Him and you will never have to compromise.
